Dates - a great source of energy, natural sugar and fiber. An added bonus is that they are rich in vitamins C and D that helps your skin’s elasticity and keeps it smooth.
Almond Butter - full of healthy fats and fiber, almond butter is an ideal source of energy.
Cacao - Cacao beans contain natural chemicals called flavonoids which are a type of antioxidant compound that promotes health and has capability of lowering your risk for several diseases.
Oats - This whole grain is rich in antioxidants and contain a powerful soluble fiber called beta-glucan, known to help reduce cholesterol while promoting healthy gut bacteria.
Chia Seeds - Although tiny, chia seeds are one of the most nutritious foods in the world, loaded with fiber, protein, Omega-3 fatty acids and antioxidants.

Ingredients:
1 cup dates (soak in warm water for 10 minutes then drain)
3 Tbsp all natural almond butter
¼ cup cacao chips (roughly chopped) or powder
1 tbsp chia seeds
⅔ cup gluten free rolled oats
How-To:
- Pulse dates in a food processor until they are in small pieces to form a ball
- Add oats, cacao, chia seeds, and almond butter. Pulse until combined into small pieces.
- Carefully roll dough into 1-inch balls, using your hands to mold them together.
- Makes about 15 balls. Then to set, place them in fridge for about 15-20 minutes. Can also eat as is! Store in fresh airtight container for up to a week. You can freeze for longer term storage.
