Piña Colada Smoothie

Don’t have big Spring Break plans? No problem! You’ll feel like you’re sitting on the beach while drinking this Piña Colada inspired smoothie. We made this recipe using real coconut milk, so it contains properties that act as antibacterials and anti-inflammatory agents which are both very important for maintaining clear vibrant skin. Then we added pineapple, which is bursting with skin essential enzymes. The result when you blend the two? A delicious skin beautifying smoothie that gives you a glowing complexion like you just got back from vacation — no Spring Breaking necessary!

INGREDIENTS:

1/2 frozen banana, sliced

1/2 cup frozen pineapple, cubed

1/3 cup pineapple juice

1/4 cup coconut milk

¼ cup of ice cubes

Agave (optional, to taste)

HOW-TO:

1. Add the banana and pineapple into the blender.

2. Then add the juice,milk, and agave to taste.

3. Finally, add the ice cubes and blend. If it’s not thick enough, add more ice cubes until it’s the consistency you like.

4. Pour into a glass and enjoy!
