Ever since our inception 11 years ago, sustainability has been at the heart of everything we do.
This year we are TAKING IT FURTHER and pledge to plant 21,000 TREES in 2021.
Here are the 7 ways we practice sustainability everyday:

OUR SOURCING PRACTICES
We are seriously clean, using ingredients that will beautify your skin without compromising the environment. Our ingredients are sourced wildcrafted, organic, non-GMO, and always grown without environmental-damaging chemicals, pesticides or fertilizers.

OUR MANUFACTURE PRACTICES
We produce all our products in small-batches saving thousands of gallons of water everyday.
All our products are handmade using love, instead of fossil fuel energy consumption.

OUR PACKAGING PRACTICES
95% of our packaging is made of recyclable glass & we are constantly searching for an alternative to the plastic pump.
Our boxes are made of recycled paper using only biodegradable, FSC certified ink.
As much as possible we push to keep our external packaging to the bare minimum.

OUR SHIPPING PRACTICES
All of our shipping boxes and materials are issued from recycled paper and are recyclable.

OUR ENVIRONMENTAL PRACTICES
Every Earth Month since our inception we plant thousands of trees.
In 2021 we are taking it to the next level and pledge to plant 21,000 TREES.
Committed to reducing plastic pollution, we launched 552M Shampoo Bar to offer a solid shampoo that gives you the same pleasure as your favorite shampoo without the plastic bottle. With your help we eliminated 48,789 plastic bottle waste from the planet in less than one year!

OUR TEAM PRACTICES
We are a plastic-free office and we only use recycled paper products. We are energy conscious and use reverse osmosis filtered water to eliminate the use of plastic water bottles. Aware that animal farming is the main contributor to climate change, we turned one of our kitchens vegan only, hoping to inspire everyone to reduce their intake of animal products.

THERE IS ALWAYS ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT
We pledge to improve our carbon footprint by moving towards more renewable energy sources, and planting trees, searching for biodegradable material that can replace plastic.
